Apparently they are not going to allow journalists free access to the net while the games are on, I suppose as well there will be a delay in LIVE results to be sure we don't see the wrong people win. this is the biggest sham of all time, any one taking part should be ashamed

  1. i dont think it will change the results, as there will be officials and spectators watching, but the net censorship is not going to be lifted just because westeners will be using it.

  2. they censor more than just the net.

  3. a waste of money and many will be on drugs, someone must be makig a fortune out of this!

  4. Let's wait and see!!!

  5. Because of China's appalling record on Human Rights, I am boycotting the Olympics altogether. I agree with you, it IS a sham.

  6. The amazing thing is all this about the censoring was in the contract the IOC agreed to seven years ago.  What I stuggle to figure out it took nine days before the games for Journalists to bother to look up the section of the agreement concerning internet access.  What were all of them doing the last seven years with the copy of the agreement that they read.  It was part of why lots of groups pointed to this agreement been bad and worse than the one they done with the n**i party. Just what kind of despots or on that committee. should we be surprised really they have a record of taking bribes and sweetners for decades so once again they have proved that they are corrupt to the core and should never be given the right to say who holds the games. they put things in these agreements that are not for the benefit of sport, " McDonalds, yes, sport no way why would we as a sporting committee wish to show some support and benefit sport" seems to be their unwritten motto,

  7. It's a disgrace! The games shouldn't be in a repressive country! The ideals of the original olympics cannot be upheld there.
