Will the Packers sign Chad Pennington?

He seems to be a free agent now and the Packers are likely in need of a backup qb?

Packers drafted 2 QBs...i reckon Brohm would become the backup with Flynn 3rd string (my guess).  I don't think Pennington will go to GB.  I think Chicago should think about him but of course they won't.  He might end up in KC with Herm.  But apparently Parcells wants Pennington in Miami, so we'll have to wait and see.

Nice idea, they could use a solid veteran back up. But other teams could use a decent QB, like the Bears and Dolphins.

i think it could be an option, but he is much more likely to go to the falcons or dolphins imo, teams for which he could start immediately

No because if the Packers sign someone else, the will be in the news again for the next week. The packeys Mark Murphy clearly doesnt want that. Besides they drafted Brian Brohm in the draft. Pennington will be released by the Jets and suprisingly I think the Dolphins will pick him up.

It would be in the bears best interest to go after pennington, other teams that could benefit from him are dolphins, bills, panthers, chiefs,

and lions, Green Bay has Brian Brohm from Louisville, that will more than likely move up the depth chart to backup rodgers

no way packers got the QB filled up with Aaron Rodgers, Brian Brohm, and Matt Flynn, i bet Chad Pennington will go to either the Vikings, Bears, Dolphins, or the 49ers.
