Will the Palace of Versailles near Paris be open over Easter 2008?

Yes, it will be open. Note that the fountains will be running on Easter Monday, which means that you have to pay to get in to the gardens (normally the fountains don't run on weekdays and entry to the gardens is therefore free). The Palace itself will also be open on Easter Monday (normally it is closed on Mondays).

Go to <www.chateauversailles.fr> for all the gen - you can click on an icon to get it in English. It's open  every day except Monday and 'certain public holidays' - as far as I can make out this means Christmas Day!
