  1. You know, with the way that both the Pies and the Blues are performing, I am really looking forward to a smashing game!

I think it could be a close one ;)

  2. I have tipped the Pies.  The Blues are a good side, with several no 1 draft picks, plus Judd Stevens and Scotland however the Pies over all experience and the fact they are playing better than when they last met, should see them get the points .

  3. You've got nothing to worry about. The Pies will be getting back injured star Scott Pendlebury to join the inform Burns, Didak and  Lockyer. The injury strucken backline of the Blues won't handle the smarts of Medhurst, Davis, your boy Thomas or Didak, and youngster Nathan Brown will have no problem on big man Fev.

The Buckley farewell will also fire up the Pies in this suprisingly unexpected pumping. Read more of my work, Damien Ractliffe, at www.talkingfooty.com/afl.php

    Tip: Pies by 40 points.

  4. Carlton will be pumped up after the weekend and the Pies are due for a loss, I tip the blues in a great game.

  5. As much as I hate collingwood i think they will win

but i think it culd be another close game for collingwood. At least that's what i hope.

  6. i picked the blues cause pies weren't as good as they  usaually are and they were facing the bottom side.

  7. Ahh yes the AFL at it's best again this weekend, these two mobs played each other only 8 weeks back, Carlton beat collingwood, when Carlton were going very ordinary, any thing could happen this week.

  8. yes i hope so

  9. I'm going to say yes. I am not from Australia, but I read my friends (who are from Australia) questions and answers and I am pretty sure they like the Pies. So my answer is yes =)

  10. I will go with The Mighty Royals, I barrack for anyone playing Collingwood.

  11. One team will realise they aren't as good as people make them out to be. Collingwood have proven over the past month that they should be there come September, for that reason alone they should win and keep the good form they have at the moment.

But be warned Collingwood played a fired up melbourne for the queens birthday round, Carlton and Collingwood are always great battles and both teams seem to be able to lift that little extra when they play each other.

Should be a cracker of a match but Collingwood SHOULD be too strong.

  12. probably, i tipped collingwood although thumbs down to all those who picked carlton to finish off the season with the wooden spoon again. Two - 3 seasons time the blues will be close to winning a premiership while making the 8 this year.

  13. Of course, we're talking about Carlton here lol

  14. yeah not a problem

  15. I think we will avenge our loss and come back to beat Carlton by 40 points.

At the end of the day, Collingwood still beat Melbourne by 4 goals and just because we didnt thrash them like WCE, doesnt mean we arnt playing our best footy.

You just cant thrash a team every single week.  Geelong virtually scrap thru week to week in unconvincing wins.

  16. No.

Well, that's what I'm hoping! I barrack for whoever is playing Collingwood.

  17. This will be a ripper of a matchh.

They're rivals and as you should no

rivalry matches can go either wayyy...

Tha MIGHTY BLUE BOYS WILL BE FIGHTING TO GET INTO THA TOPP 8

    SOOO....

    CARN THA BLUE BOYYSSS

  18. i think pies will win and that alan didak will kick the first goal

  19. Yes, I reckon they can.

Another question: why are so many Carlton fans giving X man the thumbs down? It's really childish, he hasn't said anything except he hopes his team will win.

  20. It will be a close one, judging by the form of both teams. I hope the pies win! Collingwood are probably getting tired form all these 'blockbusters' they are playing. It seems that almost every week we are playing in front of at least 60,000+

  21. I picked Collingwood.
