In order to get the 8th and final spot in the West... You have to win a minimum of 50 games...

Yes, They got a very powerful young core, they r like the Timberolwves, filled iwth young ttalent believ it or not. Portland got Bayless, Roy,alridge, webster, and oden while timberowlves got Mc cants,jefferson,love, foye, and Mike miller

i believe they'll be fighting for the 7th and 8th seeds with some West teams though they better hope that the knee surgury that roy recieved doesn't affect his whole game also the fact that we don't know how good oden will be so much will be revealed when the season starts

if they were in the eastern conference or even in a normal conference, they would.  But in the very competitive west, they will just miss, like gsw last year

Of course, they went 50 last year, 41-41, that was without a big inside presence. Phoenix's time is up, Dallas is done completely, they can beat these teams just because of their youth, they'll make the playoffs, the completely disastrous nuggets won't.

Well it depends since Roy had surgery I don't what to expect from him. LMA and Oden should be solid up front and Blake,Bayless,Roy, and Fernandez in the back court I think Portland just needs to land a decent Small forward and we're in the playoffs and I think Dallas,GS,Clips,Denver are the odd teams out.

In my opinion I think that the Blazers will be in the playoffs. They will enter the playoffs as an 8 seed and will lose in the first round to the Lakers in an extremely overhyped playoff series.

they can make it to the playoffs but not this season in my opinion, not yet, even with Bradon Roy, the rest of the team are not the playoff contender type of players and it is remain to see whether or not Greg Oden's injury is going to limit his playing time
