Question:

Will the RFU finally admit they were wrong?

After England narrowly won the last World Cup, Sir Clive Woodward went to them with changes that needed to be made to ensure England remained sucessful. The RFU refused and he left. Since then English Rugby has been in a state of flux. Will the RFU now admit the were wrong to dismiss the changes and apologise for the current state of English rugby. Somehow I think not.

Anyone like to comment?

  1. After his £u(@ up a Lions coach I wouldn't listen to Clive Woodward if he told me the time !!!!

  2. They want to get rid of themselves so Rugby can progress.0-33

    Can't watch more.Off for shower.Cold one.

  3. I would need to know what the changes he requested were before I comment!

"As far as I can recall (It was a while ago) he wanted the squad to meet up more frequently for training and I think he was concerned about friendly matches (I think he wanted more). The training methods and diets needed more work too."

I think meeting up more often was a good idea. More friendly games is sometimes not the answer. Matches take a lot out of players and adding more games to an already busy schedule may have even hindered the progress of the team. (England look fatigued playing as it is)

All in all I don't believe this warrants an apology from the RFU.

  4. lol me guessing youre finding ITV even more depressing than usual right now

i dont know too much about rugby but i think the problem with sport in general in the UK is that we spread ourselves to thinly (too many sports) and theres something about our culture and psyche that isnt as professional as other countries

  5. Yeah.... I just asked about this..... We should give him the biggest wage in Rugby History to come back.......... and Suck his C*ck if he wants.

  6. The the seeds of the running rugby revolution were planted long before Sir Clive came on the scene. England is way more than four years behind the top rugby nations. Winning the last cup with a big slow forward pack and a little man with a big boot was probably the worst thing for English rugby.

To catch up to the top nations, you need to buy international administrators, and coaching assets, and stop your clubs wasting money on Southern Hemisphere players - grow your own talent - McAlister will never play for England.
