  1. Probably not unless they end up playing the Red Sox in the ALCS, but serioulsy they won't sell out.  They have pretty much a weak fan base and the ball park is a dump.

  2. Ehhh... there's no way I'm driving across the bridge and going to that craphole stadium.  I can sit at home and watch on tv.

  3. I hope so!!! and if they don't.. i'll hitchhike my way down there.. my aunt lives down there, i'll just skip school for a couple of days hehe lol

The Rays deserve a sellout crowd. this is ridiculous and unfair :(

who cares if the ballpark is a dump i would go if it was my team!

  4. I think they will. There's a lot of people and Florida and their not all fans of the Marlins, that's for sure(just look at how empty their field is). Look for the stadium to sell out as all their fans slowly come out and root for the team that has had nothing going for them in a while. It's about time another team gives the Red Sox's and Yankees a run for their money, but who would of thought it would have been the Rays.

  5. Yeah...all the other teams. Then there will be one guy there rooting for the Rays.

  6. yeah there will be they wanna see if the rays will be good in the playoffs and their would be other teams fans supporting their team so i will say yeah

  7. Yes, they've had 5 sell outs this year, only 2 the previous 9 years.

  8. Sadly no.  The city has ignored them up to this point and it will continue.

  9. Yes and No. They don't sell out on Opening Day and, before this year, they only have had like 4 sell outs since they came into existence in 1998.  The only way they will sell out is if they play Boston in the ALCS.  The regular-season crowds are very small (averaging 21,000/game) and even their opening day crowd was only about 86% capacity. They aren't even close to selling out on a regular basis right now, and they won't in the playoffs, either. I'd guess in the ALDS they would draw about 36,000 a game. Again, if the meet Boston on the ALCS, they would sell out every night. If they do not, they will probably average only about 36-40,000.  If they made it all the way to the World Series, people would probably buy tickets just to say they went to a World Series game, and they would sell out.

  10. NO because they can't sell it out now during one of the most intense parts of the season.

  11. Yes.

The other teams' fans will buy as many tickets as they can.
