Will the Rockets beat the Lakers?

I'm a huge Rockets fan even before the Artest trade and I still tought they were a good team, I don't see the Lakers beating the Rockets, the Rockets have way too much defense for the Lakers, plus the Rockets bench is a lot better than theirs. When kobe is in the bench thats when the Rockets can beat them.

Rockets will face the Hornets in the WCF thats what I think and then face the Celtics.

I think they can win maybe 2 or 3 games of a 7 game series, but I still don't think they can over come the Lakers.

thn we got yao vs pau

tracy and artest can out score kobe and yao is way better on defense thn gasol.. we'd hav to see how the chemisty works out first but i think houston will beat lakers

In my opinion its too much for any team to handle with those guys on the floor. But then again, it's my opinion.

But I'm sure others agree with me.

If Artest actualyl helps your team, then him on Kobe at the very least would get Kobe out of his game. If he can have a BIG impact on Kobe's shot, then I could see the Rockets winning a series. BUT that's a big if. This guy seems to be a cancer like TO with the 49ers and Eagles. IF Artest is in Houston to play and win, then they coudl be a powerhouse, but I realyl don't see that happening. He'll get grumpy about whatever new thing he finds to cry about and realyl not contribute anythng but 4 fouls a game.

To answer this post really borders on speculation and nothing else. There are lots of IFs and other intangibles that will happen between now and next June (when the NBA finals happen).

The only real answer here will be done on the basketball courts.

Yeah they could beat them cause the last team the Rockets beat before there 22 game winning streak ended they beated the Lakers there defence was nice!!!!! Scola is good at D!!
