Will the Rockets get past the first round in 08-09?

A seemingly healthy Yao Ming and T-Mac (at least as of right now). Luis Scola has a full year of NBA ball under his belt. They now (arguably) have 2 of the top 5 best defenders in the league in Artest and Battier. They also added former champion Brent Barry. So is it finally their year to get out of the first round?!?! If they don't do it this year is T-Mac gone? Or even Yao?! (doubtful)

if they play well in the regular season with their additions, they could. i think they will but it depends on the team they face. if they face a team like the mavs, or suns, i personally think they will beat them, but like the spurs or lakers, i'm not so sure.

yea, even if they face the Lakers, they will. Artest can defend Vladimir just like pierce.and that was how the lakers fell. with Yao as a better center as gasol annd Bynum.
