Will the Rugby World Cup be televised in US?

The RWC starts in a couple weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows if it'll be broadcast on US tv.

setanta will broadcast the WC. you can get it on directTV and dishnetwork for free until Sept 9th, then you'll have to pay

It'd be on Setanta Sports network. You can catch it online from their web site as well.

Aside from Setanta (you can get that through Direct TV and, with a special subscription, Dish Network), the World Cup will be shown on Versus.

You will probably need to go to a bar which can subscibe to Setanta Sports or, usually in the US, DirectTV. My brother lives in Philly and pays a $20 admission charge for his rugby, as he cannot get it at his home. Setanta have the sole TV rights in the US for RWC 07.
