Even if it was manipulated, maybe it is in the best interest of the U.S. Comments. Georgians are cool, my mom says. It looks just like where we live in the U.S. Mom wants to move there except for fighting. I don't think they have malls where you can skateboard. Yuk.

  1. McCain had Nothing to do with the situation.

Here is what is happening: two provinces of Georgia have been trying to break free of the country and at least one of them wants to become part of Russia.  Georgia won't let them do so peacfully, so the members of the separatist movements in those provinces tried to do so by force.  Georgia Attacked the separatists in those provinces with soldiers and tanks.  Russia, wanting to help out a province it hopes to have as part of its country, decided to help those provinces out and attacked Georgia to make them stop attacking the separatists.

That is what it's all about.  I had to find out on the internet from BBC.uk since the American based news media won't talk about what the actual conflict is about.  All they want to focus on is Russia is attacking Georgia.  They make it sound like Georgia has done nothing wrong.  It seems to me from what I've found out, that Georgia must have done something terrible to the people in the provinces in the conflict to make them want to become part of Russia like that.

I'd like to see McCain say something to the effect that he supports the wishes of the provinces that want to be free from Georgia.

  2. Today, the Russian government told CNN that it was the Bush Admin. who started the war. If you believe in the Bush Admin - the answer is NO. They can do NO wrong. If you are a real American, you are concern about a group of people starting a war and running away. P.S. One of the person who works for John McCain is on the Georgian payroll.

  3. Russian president said anyone who will support peace in the world would be fine. Mc Cain or Obama. It does not matter.
