  1. The only thing that will eliminate a slice is proper swing mechanics and proper contact with the ball.  The particular methodology utilized is a matter of personal preference. While I do not ascribe to the stack and tilt method ( I don't by the "Natural Golf" school of thought either) I do think that you need to learn whatever method you choose from a Teaching Pro.....too many folks watch a vid on You tube and think they have learned all there is to know about the golf swing.  You can't learn any of them from a Video or book!

  2. I haven't tried the stack and tilt so I'm not sure.

    Have a good one...

  3. Those guys are right.  Stack and tilt will make it worse.  It is phenominal with short and mid irons, but will hamper your long irons and woods.

  4. stack and tilt is amazing with short and mid irons, but you can start slicing with the long irons and driver. have you noticed on the commercial they never show tour players hitting drives with stack and tilt mechanics? that because they would hit the nastiest pop up youve ever seen with it.

  5. no, stack and tilt will make it worse.

stack and tilt is suppose to make you a better striker of the golf ball.  but don't buy it.  unless you have a stack and tilt coach,, it will eventually just mess you up.  stick to what your pga professional says.

  6. Byron Nelson says: 2 things cause a slice: an open club face or an out to in swing; or both. Ther is no reason a person has to live with a slice. You don"t always have to make major changes to correct a flaw. "Whatever you do, do it in small increments" Harvey Penick ], famous golf instructor.
