  1. Billions of years from now after it's a white dwarf it will just get cooler and cooler as it radiates its heat off into space.  After it cools it will be a black dwarf.

  5. Yes.  The Sun will eventually fuse all of its hydrogen to helium, and it will swell, engulf the earth, and then it will shed off its outer layers as a nebula and the core will be a white dwarf star..
