  1. as said before you must have a digital broadcast in your region. you may check online with your address. the site below will allow you to select what digital broadcast are available now and will be after the transition. if you do have digital broadcasts and still not working check with the manufacturer for assistance.

  2. I just watched the Olympic openening ceremonies last night through my converter box. Beautiful!

Most broadcasters have already started digital broadcasting, usually in parallel with their analog signal. Enter your address at one of the sites below to check what stations are in your area and what antenna you'll need.

Check that you've done the following.

    - Connect your antenna cable to the converter box.

    - Connect the converter box to the TV with coaxial cable.

    - Put the TV on channel 3

    - Turn on the converter box, hit the menu button on the remote, and run the initial channel scan.

    - Select channels using the converter remote, not the TV's. Keep the TV on channel 3.

  3. If you mean a set top box for receiving digital TV, you have to wait until digital TV is being broadcast in your area.

    You can check here:

If not, I'm afraid I haven't got a clue what a converter box is :-)

  4. Yes it will work you shouldn't have cable and have to set it up properly.
