I know it is hard to know this, but what needs to happen to make it so?

  1. The dollar will be replaced by the Amero, the new money for the North American Union

If everything goes according to plan, the Amero will raise to the level of the euro

  2. This has been a long time coming and you would not recall how years ago the US dollar was much weaker than Australian currency. The Euro is the new darling that unites some serious players as well as some hangers on.

Don't hold your breath for a Euro tour just plan something on the cheap. In summer the French and others have a great tradition of camping which can even be done in September when the prices are less. And after Italy there are always those Greek isles.

  3. The balance of trade must shift dramatically.  When we were a big industrial country almost all of our products were being sold all over the world and the dollar was strong and our national debt was controllable.

Now we are a service economy and we buy all our goods from overseas and our national debt is in the Republican toilet.

it will again but it will take a while.

You can go to Europe now but it will be more expensive.

Look at all the Europeans that came here after WWII on vacation when the U.S. Dollar was the strongest in the world.  loosen up spend a little.  Don't save it for your kids.  Let them earn a living.

I look at Europe on the internet and explore this hemisphere.

  4. If and when it is it will simply be that much more difficult to make a buck or the Euro will be that much less valuable (in general) but there have to be better times for tourism from the US than now unless the Dollar collapses like the Mark in Germany 1930.  By that point there would likely be a draft so Uncle Sam might well pay for you to see Europe as women won't be exempt this time!

First you have to get out of debt and start producing as much or more than you consume.

    The Amero, LMAO!

  5. Doubt anyone could give you a correct answer. Economy and politicians are always fluctuating.

  6. it used to be less than the usd.

it won't be for a loooong time if it eve is.

i don't see the usa economy getting better than theirs anytime soon.

    good luck.

  7. sorry but that's never gonna happen

  8. right now the our dollar is worth 69cents in euro beacuseour country is in recession.
