  1. I have not seen any plans for Meglev Trains, but I do know that we are pushing the Goverment hard for the funding to build HS2 & HS3. Unfortantly in the end it will be down to the Goverment to decide & signe the 'White Paper'.  So it will b e some time yet.

  2. Perhaps on a small scale. But if anti gravity is discovered, then grav lev trains could be used.

    Even in countries like china, where build costs are less expensive, they are struggling to get the £50m per KM to build thier flagship line

  5. Considering that the guy who invented them is BRITISH ( Professor Eric Laithwait ), we should have had them YEARS ago !

  6. We've already got some. There was one in Birmingham International Airport to the NEC and Stansted has one between terminals. No 300mph Intercity jobs though, too expensive.

  7. There is one at Gatwick airport connecting Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.

  8. Not likely, they still have to extort us with petrol first!
