  1. No, except for a small part of eastern Maine, where a little of the partial phase of the eclipse will be visible, weather permitting, just after sunrise.

    The next chance for any part of a solar eclipse to be seen there in Chicago will be on May 20th, 2012 when a small part of a partial eclipse may be seen toward sunset. Otherwise the next chance to see a partial solar eclipse there would be on October 23, 2014.
