Will the US government approve US Citizenship of somebody who already have 2 other nationalities?

The 2 other nationalities are from naturalisation from another country and the other one is by country of birth and nationality of parents.

  1. Previous nationality is not an issue in becoming a US citizen.  The law does not mention it.  Obtaining another nationality or availing oneself of the benefits of another nationality after becoming a citizen could be an issue, but it does not automatically entail loss of citizenship unless that is the intention.


  2. The United States does not recognize multiple nationalities. So if for example you were Dual American/Canadian, you'd only be classified as American. So it typically isn't a factor. Though you might want to apply only from the citizenship of the nation you are currently in.
