I think you do root against the Cubs.  Your last 3 posts have all bashed the Cubs.  If I were you I'd worry more about the Twins then the Cubs.  No Cubs fan is getting ahead of themselves just yet because every Cubs fan knows they're capable of breaking your heart again.  It's all the Cubs haters out there that are building it up to make it seem like we've crowned ourself WS Champs already.  Do we think we have a great team?  Yes, I think any logical baseball fan can see the Cubs have a very good team.  Do I think we have the best team in the NL?  Yes, I think the Cubs have proven that all year by having the NL's best record for 90% of the season.  Do Cubs fans know that once the playoffs begin it's an entirely new season and anything can happen?  Absolutely.  The playoffs are a c**p shoot and they favor teams that get hot at the right time, which means anything is possible, including the Cubs being bounced out in the 1st round again.

EDIT: For a guy who "doesn't root against the Cubs" and "worries about his own divison more then the Cubs".  You sure are answering a lot of Cubs questions on here bashing them.

I think there is a very good chance they will. The Cubs will crash and burn in the playoffs again.

CubsBearsBulls...Although I don't agree with your every comment, You have proven to me you are one of the true Cubs fans. However, don't forget that there are a lot of fair-weather and bandwagon Cubs fans (as with any other team) who have jumped on-board due to the recent success of the Cubs. It is "their" comments that speak loudest about how, "This is the Cubs' year!" etc.

As for this White Sox "fan", lets worry if our 5th starter and bullpen can hold up and outlast the Twins before we start calling for a 3rd World Series in the time it's taken the Cubs to win...well...none.

I hope the Sox continue to do well this year!  

As for the frustration, I completely understand.  It is annoying to hear about the Cubs so much because they usually get the most attention in Chicago.  The media loves their Cubbies.  Just try to ignore them and focus on the White Sox.

Uh look at your teams standing dude. Your only a 1.5 games up on the Twins & your team is not consistent. The ChiSox are 76-57.

The Cubs however are 6.5 games ahead in there division. They have the best record in all of baseball 84-50 and there riding a 6 game win streak.

I bet my money on the Cubs going to the WS over the White Sox.
