  1. In the airline business its impossible to tell what will be in the airline business in 8 months, so there is no way to predict what will happen in 5,10,20 years.

Things can get better, and things can get worse, no way to predict.

The world should learn how to get alone without oil, arabs control the oil , and they control the world. When the world will invent ways to get along without oil - everythings could get better for the countries who doesn't own oil.

  2. if the economy is worse than yes, everything will be very different. for example before nine-eleven the flight attensants served a cookie and milk for free n malaysia airlines but after nine-eleven you even have to pay for peanuts.(In 20 years maybe even drinks!) Not many fliers(gas prices)~ airlines bump up prices~ less frequent travellers~airlines go out of bussiness then bam no more airplanes or flying.

  3. No, because fares will be going way up which will make air travel too expensive for many American families.  However, with more expensive tickets and a more elite clientele, airlines could start to return some of the service you found on planes thirty years ago =]
