I'm bringing an Xbox 360 and my laptop in my carry on case. Will the airport X-Ray machines ruin the hard drives or any other part of either of these systems? Thanks.

  1. Doubt it people run their laptops through all the time, i've done it numerous times never had an issue, never ran a 360 but i'm sure it'll be ok

  2. If it erased the hard drive everytime some put their laptop threw i think the airlines would stop allowing laptops on planes. Your hard drive will be fine. Now just a heads up the people at security are going to double check you for being the 360 with you.

  3. No, the X-ray machine won't ruin your hard drive - it's all digital stuff. Film for a camera would be the only thing that I wouldn't put through an X-ray machine.
