You have a very good point. I guess society influences and natural abilities take them in a different direction. There are a lot of extremely talented african american athletes from Tiger to Kobe to Rice. I think eventually some talented soul will make history in NASCAR as the most wins by a black man, don't you? Or maybe a woman!!!?

By the way, what ever happened to Bill Lester?

You never know. But probably not. It will be their loss, because it is a great sport!! I'm a die-hard NASCAR fan, and I welcome anyone that wants to participate.

There is nothing stopping them except for lack of interest.  There has been black drivers in the past and it still didn't get them involved.  They don't watch NHRA which has good black drivers who win races.  I'm not too sure about F1 fans but Lewis Hamilton is very good.  Maybe motorsports just aren't their thing.

I will say no the majority will not be interested.  There are a few out there who do like it though.

yes i know some black people who are fans of nascar. Also there some black drivers. One that I can think off the top of my head is Morty Buckles.
