They can't even get in at 10-6, lol. Seriously, they might, but I think they'll have a step back this year. There are too many other teams poised to take wild card spots, like Buffalo, Tennessee, Jacksonville, and maybe some other surprise teams

DISCLAIMER:  I am a Browns fan.

Will the Browns make the playoffs?  They could.  10 or 11 wins?  I highly doubt it.

The schedule gods have seen fit to give us one of the toughest schedules in football this year.  The only good news on that front is that the Steelers have the very toughest schedule of all.  It will come down to four major issues:

1.  Injuries.  (of course...)

2.  How do the Browns fare against Pittsburgh?  The second and sixteenth games of the season are by FAR the two most important on the schedule.

3.  How do the Steelers' suspect offensive and defensive lines hold up through that tough schedule?

4.  Does our defense play just well enough to let our offense win all the shootout games we'll be a part of?  The Browns will play a lot of high-scoring affairs this season, starting with Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys.

How do I see it playing out?  I expect that the division champ will win no more than ten games, and we may even see a team with only 8 or 9 wins come out on top.  

Who do I think it will be?  The Browns at 9-7, by virtue of a win in Pittsburgh in the last game of the season.

It pains me to say it but YES I think the Browns will make the playoffs. They have built a nice program down there in Ohio.  I only wish my beloved Detroit Lions would follow the same path. Can't wait for U of M and Ohio State! Maybe it'll be a decent game this year. Although, the way Michigan looked against Utah, they might be lucky to win 4 games.
