  1. Very possibly not, even if you filed  a change of address form with the post office.  File form 8822 with the IRS


  2. Government mail is not forwarded.  The Post Office put a yellow label with you new address and returns it back to IRS, IRS will then send you a "are you there letter ? once you respond with the new address the check will be reissued.

    You need to file Form 8822 change of address with the IRS or call 1-800-829-1040 to change your address or visit your local IRS office.

  3. ONLY IF YOU FORWARD YOUR MAIL GO TO US POSTAL ONLINE AND CHANGE YOU FORWARDING ADDY

  4. Only if you tell the post office.
