Will the city of Los Angeles schedule trash pick-ups? (Furniture)?

I'm moving out and I have a ton of stuff I need to leave curbside. I can't seem to find any number for a city service to come and deal with all this junk though. Any ideas?

Many waste management companies have a once- or twice-yearly curbside pickup of large items.  Also, many can schedule it.  (They do where I live.)  

Contact the specific waste management agency for where you live.  I'm guessing it might be the general Department of Public Works Department of Sanitation:
