Sorry to burst your bubble, but India have a long way to go before that happens.After 31 matches they are on 112 points, whereas Australia after only 25 matches are on 130 points.There are also 3 teams ahead of them, Aus SA & NZ.

It can be but we have to be more consistent and the selectors have got to do a better job coz clearly whatever they are doing right now is not working very well in our favour.

Team India has been on the top a long time, but never manages to remain on top for prolonged period of time.

The 13 names I can think of are: Manoj Tiwary, KKD Karthik, Romesh Pawar, Yousuf Pathan, Rahul Dravid, Manpreet Gony, Robin Uthappa, Munaf Patel, Pragyan Ojha, Piyush Chawla, Rohit Sharma, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh. They should get rid of them from the ODI team. May be there is a small contribution from some of them now and then but ignore it. They are all losers.

Now, they have to make a team out of 15 players: Ishant Sharma, RP Singh, Praveen Kumar, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Suresh Raina, Sreesanth, Murali Kartik, Yuvraj Singh, Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, Dhoni, Badrinath and Tendulkar. They are winners and make a difference.

Ideally, I would like to have the following 11 member ODI team. Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, Badrinath, Dhoni, Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Murali Kartik, Sreesanth, Praveen Kumar. The reserves will be: Raina, Yuvraj, RP Singh, Ishant.

If they do the above, India can be a champion side.
