Question:

Will the department of Human services help with child care if a parent is attending school online?

My husband works full time and I am starting school full time through the University of Oklahoma online program we live in a small town and our youngest is on the waiting list for head start but that could take a while I know that DHS helps with child care if both parents are working but I can not find any information if they would help if he is working and I am attending school online if any one has any helpful info that would be great Thanks

  1. contact your local DHS office. I think they require you to work at least 15 hours a week even if youre going to school.  


  2. DHS goes off of income I believe, and going to school i'm pretty sure is an acceptable reason to get assistance.  Just call them.
