  1. there are several dozen urine and several thousand blood tests that a doctor can run, but if it is just routine testing then a toxicology screen is not in the cards. the pot will not show up. also, the doctor is unlikely to inform your parents if he or she did find it unless they ask directly about finding evidence of drugs.

  2. Well, kid, not to be a wise guy, but....

This is a very stupid question.

Why not just stay at home instead?

I mean, you could figure that out, surely.

Marijuana is very bad for you, too.

    Conformist, some?

Don't not smoke marijuana because you could do something "recreational" instead. What if they started up the draft again? What if you couldn't defend your country because you were on dope and we suffered an invasion? Have some pride. Do something good with your body. Work out, drink water. You'll be in better shape, and you'll get a lot more girls. You may think that doing drugs will impress people, but, when your an old junkie-burn out, no one will want you. Stay in good shape, get a good white collar job, and you'll be living big.

  3. They will only find out if they check for any drugs in your bloodstream or urine. 99% of the time the doctor does not check for illegal drugs unless asked to. They check your blood and urine for any abnormalities. For example, a high white blood cell count. I wouldn't worry. Stay off the weed until your doctors appointment is over.

  4. They probably wouldnt even test for drugs. They usually only call if they find something wrong with your blood test.

I used to be worried about the same problem but they never found it in mine, and if they did they didnt say anything.

I'm not saying you should try it, because honestly, pots not all that great.

Plus your pretty young to try it. If you're going try it at all you should def be older.

    Your brain is still developing.

But whatever i say probably wont sway you from trying it if you want to that bad. Careful it's not laced with anything though.

You should just wait untill after your doctors appointment.

  5. WHY would you try pot??? There's no reason to. And you're worried about a blood test? What about the brain cells you are going to kill when you smoke the pot? Don't do it. Why can't you think of something useful to do instead of ruin your body and your brain smoking pot or anything else? Go jogging, play basket ball, ride a bike, go hiking, go fishing. Live your life, don't ruin it with drugs.

  6. The pot will not show up in your urine because:

    1) The doctor won't run a drug test unless requested to do so by your parents.

    2) Marijuana will generally fall below detectable levels within 5 weeks of non-use for heavy smokers, or if it is your first and only time trying, 2 weeks will be enough to get it out of your system. If your body doesn't have a lot of fat, it will also help you pass the drug faster.

HOWEVER, if your parents suspect you've tried weed, they can order a hair test, which will detect your marijuana use months or even years after you've done it.

Bottom line: you probably won't get caught.  BUT...  it could mess up your future BIG time if you did (especially with joint in hand).  I remember when I was 14, i always wondered if hot girls would ever like me.  Let me tell you, a girl can like a guy for the dumbest reasons - maybe just the smell, or the way he makes a fool of himself, or even the way he stays quiet all the time.  But I've never heard of a girl liking a guy for smoking weed.  My point?  Girls are way better than marijuana... and when you meet the right girl, you get a lot more respect from your friends than if you just do stupid things with them and follow along.

  7. Yes it will show up, yes your doctor will report the results if the urine is tested for drugs. sometimes UA (urine analysis) does not include this and often many doctors make it a routine check.....not worth trying bud.

  8. Plain, and simple. Your 14 (a minor), your parents will be able to see the test results. They may not be able to READ the test results, but they will be able to SEE the results. Good Luck!
