I seeem to feel he's a Met next year. If Minaya doesn't get fired, he'll try to sign Manny, he's already made previous attempts to acquire him.

Also, there's more revenue available from CitiField.

Can't see why not, they will be free of  Kent, Nomar, Sweeney, Bennett Lowe and  Furcal's contracts with a $2m buyout option for Penny. I think the biggest factor will be if they decide to pursue Sabbathia.

Dodgers will resign Manny....Dodgers don't make playoffs...About the time of the all star break next year,dodgers will wish they didn't sign manny....

I would say yes. All they have to do is not sign Nomar or Furcal who do not play anyway and they have the money to do so.

I hope so. But it is really unlikely. We all know that the organization has spent too much money on senior citizens that we have none to spend. This offseason the team has to fill up a lot of holes in the infield due to the expiring contracts of furcal, kent, and a few pitchers. Unless they fill those holes through their farm system or young players like dewitt, hu, and others the team might not have enough to spend on manny. You never know though. If the team goes deep in the playoffs maybe the Dodgers will pull a few strings. But as a dodger fanatic i would really love them to sign him. he really has brought electricity to dodgers stadium. And i think the young dodger players are going to  have BREAKOUT seasons next year and with the addition of manny next year this team will be unstoppable. and YESSS the dodgers are going to make the postseason this year...I CAN GUARANTEE IT. Im just glad this losing streak happened now rather than sometime in september. They will never lose like they did this past week. And with huge wins against dan haren and webb, i'm sure the teams confidence is up.

I think they should and will resign him. He is amazing being a Dodger.He won't get Dodgers in playoffs this year though. Somehow even with Manny, they played worse than before. They played themselves out of playoffs. If they want to be back in, the whole team need to turn it around, not relying on one player.

Somehow get rid of Andrew Jones and sign CC Sabathia to match Brandon Webb. Then Dodger will be golden next year.
