  1. the Dodgers will. I don't see how you guys are counting LA out against the Cubs thoug. The cubs swept them the first series they played without Jeff Kent Garciaparra and Jones( i know didnt matter) and the second time around they split a 4 game series with them and the only player they got back was Jeff Kent. Add Manny, Blake to the mix, as well as Garciaparra, then the Dodgers could give them a run for their money. When they swept them, the did it by only scoring 3,3 and 2 runs. The dodgers are a lot healthier and have a better lineup now.  the second series, the dodgers (only difference from the first series is Jeff Kent back) shut them out one game , gave up  5 3 3 0 runs. The pitching for them has always been there and the addition of Manny and Blake and a healthy Garciaparra should put them over the top. They have gotten to Zambrano and roughed him for 7 runs. They also go Dempster for 3 runs in less than 6 IP. And since there isnt an excuse, the Cubs had all of their starting players playing the series. The only player they added was Harden. Yes he is good, but the improved offense should do some damage. The Dodgers are not as light as you make them to be. LOOKOUT Chicago.  The Dodgers own season series vs the Brewers and dont use the not having CC excuse because LA took 2 of 3 from them without having Manny Blake and Garciaparra. The Mets own season series vs LA 4-3(not as good as you make it seem to be) and again those were without Manny Blake and Garciaparra. Please look up stats before you start saying which team will get swpet in the playoffs against which teams becaue you make yourselves look dumb!

  2. At the rate things are going, LA is going to pick up speed and take the lowly, pathetic NL West. The truth is, whoever comes out of the NL West will get demolished by the Cubs. Sorry, folks.

  3. It will be very close between them and Arizona..They might just win the division.

  4. Yeah I Think so. They have loads of Talent.

  5. Maddux is a great addition to a already decent staff. He's a playoff vet and it will help the other pitchers. Also, I would like to say that although the Brewers are a good team this year, playoff experience is a plus and once the post-season arrives,it will tell on them.I pick the Dodgers and Cubs to battle for NL Pennant and with both teams having great managers,it should be a thrilling series.Cubs in 5.Cubs-Angels WS.Cubs in 6

  6. They'll beat out AZ, but I don't think it's because of Maddux. He's held his ground. A 3.99 ERA for a guy at 42 and a record of 6-9 with a sub-par offense in San Diego. He's a decent addition, but at 42, he's far past his prime.

  7. They do have a chance to get past Arizona, but they will not make it deep into the playoffs. They will have the Mets (I believe in them), Brewers, and Cubs to deal with. I know they won't play all of those teams, but all of those teams would beat them if they were to play eachother. The west is going nowhere in the NL.

  8. DBACKS!!!!

  9. They Had enought already and this trade will help the Dodgers pull away once in for all.

  10. DODGERS!!!!!!!!!! WISHED YOU LIVED IN CA WEATHER! BIAATCH! LOL
