What if cold fusion is real. If it is true, will there be a possibility that all of the earth's oceans will dry up as all of the world's country's use fusion. In fusion, 2 deteriums fused to form helium, destroying the water molecule.

  1. No. Not unless all of that is unleased in the open instead of being contained and I think if that were to happen, we would have a lot more to be concerned with, IF we had time to be in that case, which we would not! In other words, it would not matter at that point. Let us hope it is never unleased.


  2. Deuterium is a small fraction of the water on this planet. Even if we used all the deuterium available, there would be a almost all of the normal water remaining

  3. The amount of energy theoretically released by even a small amount of water in cold fusion is huge. It would pretty much be impossible for us to use all the water in the world.
