  1. who cares?

  2. the world is not going to end in 2012. There is no scientific proof, or evidence for that matter. People think that the world is going to end because that’s when the mayan calendar ends. If this is why the world is going to end then we might as well say that the world is going to end on December 31 2009 because no calendars have been printed for 2010 yet. Its an absurd idea that has been shamelessly endorsed by yahoo, google, the news media, and even the history channel.

that’s the short answer. Here’s the long one:

There are a couple theories on how the world will supposedly end in 2012. I will give you examples, and shoot the ideas down for you.

The most popular idea is that planet x, is going to come to the earth and block the sunlight. First of all, it is not “the planet x” it’s “a planet x”. planet x is a generalized term that caught on a couple hundred years ago that was used to describe unknown planets of our solar system. Neptune was once a planet x. astronomers calculated that the orbital period of Uranus was affected by another object, probably a planet, that was beyond Uranus. They calculated the orbital period of this planet x, and found where it would be at a specific time. They saw the planet, and it was no longer considered planet x. it got its name- Neptune. Scientists miscalculated the orbital period of Neptune being affected by another planet, but by chance their miscalculations revealed Pluto. This icy world was also considered planet x, and was first seen in 1930. It was considered a planet until 2006 when it was demoted to a dwarf planet, and now a plutoid. Sedna, quaour, eris, and ceris were all considered planet x’s, and were eventually classified as plutoids.

Now that you know the true definition of a planet x, lets talk about the scientific improbabilities of a planet x that is going to travel all the way to the earth. First of all, I have gone to college, and received a PhD in astronomy and astrophysics and I have never heard of nibiru. According to recent data, there may be another planet larger than earth lying in the kupiter belt. to get to earth it would have to get through the beatings of countless asteroids, and the gravitational pull of the four gas giants of the outer solar system - Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter. I wouldn’t be surprised if it became a moon of one of those planets on its way. Anyway, if it did get through the gas giants, it has to get through another asteroid belt, as well as mars. It will most likely be shot into outer space, or into the sun where it will burn up. If it did manage, by some miracle, to get in front of the earth, it would be in a different gravitational shell. It would be closer, which means it will orbit the sun faster than the earth, therefore it will move away from us. So that’s not going to happen.

Another theory is about the asteroid. Its going to hit earth or whatever. Here’s why it won’t work: the asteroid has to take the same path to get to the earth as planet x, but it is even smaller, and will take more of a beating. If it got through everything, it would just crash into our moon probably. If it did come to earth, the atmosphere would burn it up so much that there would probably be nothing left for it to hit earth.

All other theories are just as absurd. Nothing is going to happen in 2012, except for the same things that could happen any other year.

  3. Nope

  4. The card represents the critical factor for the issue at hand. Seven of Painting (Patience), when reversed: Refusing to wait for the situation to develop or ripen. Demanding immediate material assistance or reinforcements. Possible delays and slowdowns. Feeling uncertain or apprehensive about a tangible issue. Procrastination. Squandering your resources. In the creative process: Straining to speed things up only produces anxiety, so get a grip and wait for everything to unfold according to its own timing.

  5. The Mayan calender ends at this time.  They had the most accurate calender in human history.  More accurate than what we use today.  They tapped into the secretes of repeated human events.  This way they could predicted the course of the future.  I truly hope that their belief and findings are not true, but history has showed that they are a culture from the past we can not overlook.

  6. India tv reporters cant see the future

  7. 21st December 2012, is when the Mayan calender ends.

So some people start claiming that Mayan knew that end of the world is coming on this day thus they said the world would end on this day.

Few years back some people who love to create news and issues for others, made it a big business like those people who suicide because they thought earth will end in 2000, I mean we're still here world ended for them alright.

First of all if Mayan were so smart they would not be gone now, they would be ruling the world.

Secondly just because Mayans didn't know how to count beyond certain number doesn't mean its end of the world, it simply means they were limited with their numbering system.

So no there isn't going to Armageddon on 21st December, 2012, either it'll be before that or after that.

    :)

  8. There is no evidence that states that the world will more likely end on December 21, 2012 than there is that states it will end tomorrow.

  9. Only god knows the answer...

  10. ABSOLUTELY NOT !  EVERYONE'S ALWAYS PREDICTING THE END OF THE WORLD.  IT'S JUST A BUNCH OF GARBAGE.

  11. God says no one know not even Jesus

  12. First of all, the actual date that the Mayan Calendar starts and finishes is disputed and refuted,

But let's assume that 12-12-2012 is generally the accurate date the 13th b'ak'tun will end.

"But the Mayans said nothing about anything beyond that date!!!"

No, they were aware of the 14th b'ak'tun.

In fact, the Mayans knew of previous cycles, (and ones to come)

as the Long Count calendar was actually sort of short for them, calendar wise.

They had different calendars to make up for this.

Now, assuming December 2012 is the end of anything even though it's unlikely,

the Mayans speak of 2012 as the beginning of a new golden age.

That doesn't sound so bad, does it?

The Mayans we're an amazing people, they made an amazing calendar, and their stargazing and solar mapping is awe inspiring.

But they never talk about "cataclysms" or "end times", it's all about rebirth baby, yeah baby yeah.

The guy behind the doomsday nonsense is José Argülles, he started this end of the world rubbish.

The Mayans did not predict the end of the world, José Argülles did!

So before you build a bomb shelter and buy a bunch of assault rifles, remember:

4772 October 12 AD (the non translated Mayan date that might be December 2012)

is not the end of anything friends, but maybe the beginning of something better, if you choose

to believe in any of this silliness.

    So it's win/win!

  13. The sun is not going to explode in 2012

    No.

  14. why not tomorrow? because nobody said so?

  15. ok , look, no-one says it is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but no-one says it isnt plain and simple, dont get caught up about.....its a load of c**p made up by some fat guy on youtube or something trying to get everyone scared. btw, my calendar ends every year on december 31st and thats not the end of the world

  16. No.

Scientists don't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the year 2012, or specifically on the date December 21, other than the solstice, which happens every year.

None of the "predicted" happenings for 2012 hold up under close scrutiny. "Planet X" and "Nibiru" simply don't exist. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, but there were no predictions of the end of the world. The Sun doesn't line up with the galactic centre; it's 6 degrees off. No asteroids or comets are actually predicted to hit Earth.

All of this stuff was put together by crackpots in order to promote their books and TV shows, and shamelessly promoted by the History Channel. Don't take any of it seriously!

  17. A hundred bucks says no. Seriously,no.
