This too shall pass, but the question is how long will it last.  I just heard on CNBC the analysts are predicting that gas won't go down that far but will probably stabilize at around $3.00 a gallon.  In SoCal where I live, we haven't hit rock bottom.  Just last week DataQuick released their prediction that our housing prices won't stop falling until 2010, so we are in for a long ride.
