Will the eggs float of frogs?

we have 2 american toads and we cant tell if the things in the water are bubbles or eggs?

  1. Actually, most frog eggs don't float, they sink.  They are laid in shallow water on the bottom, where they are relatively safe from birds and insects.


  2. they float in clumps, and have a jelly coating with black dots that eventually turn into tad poles in the middle.   you can touch them if your unsure.  if it feels like tapioca they're eggs.  just don't hurt them.
