  1. When you say easier what do you mean? They faced Samoa, Tonga and will probably face Argentina in the semi-final? Note I didn't include England in that list!

I think they may be better prepared as they have faced tougher opposition, but the Kiwis now have France and probably Australia so it will be one h**l of a final either way!

I hope the Boks win it myself, but as long as it isn't Australia I don't mind either way!

  2. I think South Africa have certinly been better prepared - facing England as well as 2 physical teams like Tonga and Samoa has really got the ball rolling for them, whereas the Kiwis have had such an easy ride, they probably would have won if they hadn't turned up.

Fiji is still a physical side for SA to beat in the QF's, but they shold do it and then go on to probably face Argentina in the semi, who they can also beat.

If the Kiwi's get past France (who could upset them as they are the All Blacks' bugbear team), they will probably have to face Australia who are MORE than capable of knocking them out on their day.

My money's on SA in the final if they even face the Kiwi's at all...

  3. No, that's they way the tournament panned out.  There is no easy rout, eveery game will be hard earnt for every team.  They should look at the positives, when they win they will be beating the three teams who have beaten them in past Rugby World Cups.  That's the incentive.  They have played big teams in successive weeks before this is no different.  Win the tournament then b***h later anything else is an excuse.

  4. Would give odds on ABs winning the cup.  They are unbeatable at the moment.

  5. I reckin you could be right. Although lets face it New Zealand havn't exactly been stretched...

  6. It's about now that we should see the recon program kicking in. If RSA could not go the full 80 against the ABs at home in the tri-nations - what makes you think they will be able to do so in two weeks time?

RSA had a break for the last two weeks of the tri-nations - our boys were reconditioning for 8-10 weeks. Do you really think RSA will be fresher? Fiji are bound to snap and dent a few fellas.  RSA has the S14 championship title but they won't be taking the Webb Ellis home so easily.

  7. HANG ON MATE...........they have to beat the French first, do not underestimate the mighty Shabal & Co!!!!!!!!!

They screwed up AB's chances before and can do it again!!!!

  8. It could go either way.  The All Blacks have a lot of hype to live up to (mostly self inflicted) and frankly, I am tired of constantly hearing that they are unbeatable.  They havent wont the cup in 20 years so obviously they are very beatable as is any of the top teams for goodness sake.  The fact that the A>B's have had an easier run now comes to an end and that will either result in several injuries before the final or harden them...could go either way as I said.  In the end though it is all academic.  It should be a Springbok / Kiwi final and if it is, the Springboks will win.  End of story.

  9. They won't get to the final, the French will slaughter them!!

  10. "we take the high road and you take the low road,"we take any bloody road you give us cause it doesnt matter if we face France,Aussie,S.A.The C.I.A,,4 Tornadoes,The Melbourne Storm and The Xmen!!!Cause the Migty AllBlacks will prevail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GO ALL BLACKS!!!!!!!TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Regardless of which way either teams take to the final I don't think it will matter,

SA have an easier run but NZ have more depth in their squad so they can replace some of their team if they are worn out, also NZ had a much easier run in pool play so really it just comes down to whos playing best on the night.

  12. firstly i would like to say that i agree with you totally that braais rock.

secondly, you are completely right in assuming that it will be one game too many for the kiwis.

the final will be tight but should the boks and kiwis make it to the final( which they most definitely will ), i think the boks will be the fresher and therefore victorious.

    GO BOKS !!!!
