I really hope that the government will have better things to do then deal with who uses what lightbulb. Thats 4 years away, worry about it then.

You'll still be able to use any incandescent bulbs you have until they're gone. You just won't be able to bu more.  

Which is fine--if you're dumb enough to keep throwing money away money, that's your business. Me, I'd rather have the approximately $100/year  I already save to spend on other things.
