Will the guys get taller when school starts!!?

I'm 13, and 5'5 which stands pretty tall at my age, I basically tower most of the guys. So it's the summer from grade seven going to grade eight for me and I was wondering do you think the guys will grow? People say guys usually change a bit from the summer of grade seven to grade eight, but what do you guys think?

I was also the string bean of my class, but like around high school the rest of my classmates had huge growth spurts and past me by. Just because you tower over them now doesn't mean you always will. Plus being tall is an advantage i believe, for one when you reach a certain height you are eligible for a special scholarship.

I was 5'7" at your age, be glad you aren't another 2 inches taller. And most of the guys shot up about their freshman or sophomore year where I went to school.

im going to be 6 foot when i go back in y10 so yes us guys grow

This is impossible to answer, depends on the childrens genetics.

If they have good height genetics, this summer may be their growth spurting age.

Your not tall also, your on the shorter side.

at the school i went to, the guys didn't change that much in height in middle school some of their voices got a little deeper, but not as deep as they are now, it was in between freshman and sophomore where they grew, voice got really deep and got muscles
