Years ago (i'm very old) the "Back Alley Butchers" used to kill both the mom and the babies trying to end unwanted pregnancies.  Today the women survive more.  Hopefully the future will bring a contraception pill that will end this problem forever.

No it will not, because the primary "issue" regarding abortion is "When does human life begin." That question is ultimately not one that can never be answered adequately by science. Philosophy and religion fill the gap, leaving people on both sides of the issue feeling they are 100% right, but having no way to prove it.

unfortunately no, there is two much money in it, from doctors and their staff to lab techs, lawyers, judges, and the list goes on, its past the point about life now, its just about the money, planned parent hood makes a fortune off tax money, donations, and sells the baby parts, too much money involved. The media is neck deep in it too. And all the while the person that cured cancer was aborted!

no it won't, because people can't control themselves or be sufficiently responsibly in their behaviour to avoid unwanted pregnancy. a ga'zillion years of history tells us this is true. it's in the nature of people to struggle, and often make a real mess of their lives. think of it this way, experiential intelligence does not transfer from one person to the next at all. people find it VERY difficult to learn from their parents or whoever.

Well, no.  It's like every other issue that people have long-argued opinions on.   Like religion or the anti-pot / pro-pot debates.  It's all a matter of perspective, experience / personal influences.  

We go wrong as a species when we try to completely resolve these types of issues by believing that the "other side" has to be forced into seeing things like we do.  The point of getting along in this world is knowing that we all have different view points.  We shouldn't get in the way of each other and we should allow each other the freedom of our own opinions.  There are more than enough people on both sides of an argument who have valid arguments for their own way of life.   It's amazing how people with opposing views... even family members .... will hate each other for those differing views.  They'd rather coddle hate and dissonance than to just say "hey, it's cool, I still respect you for this....".   Pro and anti-abortion is one of those subjects that can legitimately be argued into infinity.

I don't like chocolate.  That isn't gonna change in the near future.  I don't care who says it tastes great.  To each their own.
