Will the keyless entry fobs for a 2006 Ford Explorer, work for a 2008 Ford Expedition if properly programmed?

We had a 2006 Ford Explorer with keyless entry, we are getting a 2008 Ford Expedition. We have several key fobs and would like to know if they will work with the Expedition.

  1. as long as the frequency is the same than it can be programed to work.


  2. According to the Ford chart your key FOBs should work with the Expedition, they will just need to be programmed to the vehicle.
