A kitten came into my yard and I know he belongs to someone because he has a collar on, but no information. He will not leave the yard and my window was open and he sits there and cries. I live with my bfs parents and they do not allow pets in the house. I fed the cat and gave him water, he tries to follow me. I pick him up and pet him, but I have a son who I have to take care of so its kind of hard to devote all my time to the kitten. I put him in a kennel with food and water and made the kennel comfy with old clothes. The weather is not that cold just cool. Do you think he will be okay over night. I did check on him and he was purring and ALIVE!!! So i thought that was a good sigh. Is he here to stay? When he is loose he never leaves my yard!!

  1. you should take him to the vet and see if the cat is okey sometimes it is wanting attentoin or is verry sick only the vet knows this so you should go there immediatly and get him checked up then give it to a pet shop or a new home

  2. no, he wont be ok.

what you doing is a great emergency intervention, but you need to find his home, or give him to a shelter

call shelters, animal control, put an ad in the paper see if any one claims him, if not, bring him to a shelter.

he is lost, scared ,alone, hungry, cold,.

you gave him food, water ,shelter. he will never leave.

  3. i guess the kitten must like you alot and wants you to be it's owner, you should keep the kitten, they are so cute. I know you have a son to take care of. how about this, if you have to take care of your son, just put the kitten outside, but just keep an eye on the kitten. If your son takes naps, bring the kitten inside and give the kitten a little attention. When your son wakes up, but the kitten in the kennel with food and water or put him/her back outiside. So yeah, im sure the kitten will be okay for you to keep, unless you want to find its owner. If you want to keep him, make  you go to the vet and see he doesn't have anything. Hope this helped ^^.
