  1. Liquid does not expand in a vacuum;-} only gases would.

  2. No, shouldn't be an issue unless you have a faulty insert.

But FYI.. those inkpens.. "Pilot" the fine tipped ones with the rings around the tip and the transparent window on the side will burst.

I'm a pilot and used to go flying after work. If I'd forget one of those in my pocket, it'd almost always burst and ruin my shirt.

Also, a bag of potato chips/whatever will also explode.

  3. LOL

    i wouldnt say so

  4. no will it heck

  5. The pressure in the aircraft is not a huge difference from ground level. If the aicraft depressurised quickly the rapid change in air pressure could affect various things but if the aircraft had to do an emergency change of altitude, the last thing you would be thinking of would be how you looked. Enjoy your flight

  6. of course not

  7. Passenger jet aircraft are pressurised at about 10,000 feet above sea level so it should not be an issue so far as air pressure is concerned.

Even so, do you really need to wear a push-up bra on a plane? You're going to be stuffed down into the seat for the entire trip, not entertaining the troops in a pub.

Not to mention that airport security just might decide to have a peek at your goody bags to make sure you're not trying to smuggle any explosive hooters in your bra. Do you want to show the entire staff that you're wearing a push-up bra?

Dress casually & comfortably. Save the unrealistic enhancements for the post-arrival party.

Question: Doc, will I be able to go scuba diving after having this operation? What about flying in a plane?

Myth: The question is really what happens to an implant in an area of high or low atmospheric pressure. While it is true that a saline or silicone breast implant may explode at high altitudes (or low air pressure), it is not likely to occur in reality. Experiments to test these situations have been performed. At high altitudes the implants expanded, but it occurs at too high an altitude for a person to live and the expansion is not enough to cause it to explode. Therefore there is no risk of a breast implant exploding inside of a living person. At an extreme environment such as high mountain climbing, b*****s may possibly appear a little larger. The reverse condition has also been tested and no examples of implants exploding or breaking have been noted during scuba diving.

  9. You're not supposed to take liquids on to planes these days

  10. This was on mythbusters and they proved that it would never happen. Have a nice flight :)

  11. Absolutely not!!!  The pressure on an aircraft is meant to be the same (roughly) as the pressure on the ground.  Your bra doesn't explode on the ground so it won't explode on a plane either!
