the Clintons?

When Clinton became President, he asked the Media to "lay off" His daughter Chelsy, and they did.

Do you think the excessiely biased left wing media of today wii do the same for the daughter of our new VP candidate?

Or will they visciously use her and ruin her chances for happyness?

  1. I think it is a travesty.  That little girl can't help that she is a s**t and has a messed up name.  I shouldn't say things like that.  The reality is that Palin knew what she was opening herself and her family up to in the beginning.

I agree that the little girl is a minor but that is the story.  They ran it into the ground and now they should let it go.  If I were Palin I would sue every media outlet that ran the story.  If I were running the Obama campaign now I would ask the media to stop harassing the little girl.  If I were the campaign manager for McCain I would pound the media into the ground for reporting something that is unethical to report.

The reality is that Obama can do no wrong and McCain is the Anti-Christ in the media's eyes.

  2. Its funny, now that there's some media heat on the right wing side, you repubs are all pissed off. You weren't complaining about how much Obama took from the media the past oh let's say 6 months or more

  3. Im more annoyed that after any mention of the children, the 4 month old gets "with down syndrome" after his name.

  4. The media go crazy over stuff like this, although it would be a lot more vicious if Obama had a teenage daughter that this happened to and we had the Republican's infamous smear campaign added into the mixture.  The media doesn't want to go all out on Republican scandals for the most part because the media is mostly owned by huge Republican corporations.

  5. What kind of mother allows her teen daughter to have s*x?

    You thought Cheney's L*****n daughter was bad...HA!

It wouldn't be so bad if Republicans didn't pretend they were above all of this scandal that is called REAL life.

  6. I think there is a difference between having an opinion about teen pregnancy and stating how ugly someone is.  One is merely an opinion, the other is MEAN.

Personally, I don't know what any of this has to do with the election.  What in the h**l does someones 17 year old daughter being pregnant have to do with national security?

  7. As the press continues to become increasingly uninformed they address the supposed flash without digging into the real facts and report rumor.  Add to this the fact that the press has little understanding of what an unbias reported does, that is, simply report the facts.  That is, actually become educated as to what are the facts of the story (or lack of story).

Increasing the press has been taught in the colleges that being politically correct is more important than reporting the facts of a story.  Increasingly the instructors in the colleges have become left leaning, politically correct, idealogs to whom facts have little meaning.

The poster boy of our current press should be Michael Moore who believes (and has stated) that it is acceptable to produce propaganda and term it fact.

  8. If Chelsea got pregnant we would have heard SO much about it.  But she didn't.

  9. I doubt it. There are a lot more idiots in the media these days.

  10. That's asking a lot of media that hates Republicans.

  11. Chelsey was never pregnant

    And

The Bush girls were busted using a fake ID, no charges were filed though, HUGE SURPRISE

    THUMBS DOWN?

WAS CHELSEY PREGNANT? DID I MISS SOMETHING

    OTHER THAN YOUR BIAS

  12. Sarah needs to tell those ***** at the dailykooks to lay the *** off my daughter you hypocrites.

  13. Don;t worry about Sarah's daughter, worry about the media.

The way the newspapers are laying people off  and cutting back and losing tons of money in ad revenue, They are the ones who are on the verge of extinction.

  14. the difference is pregnancy and with the christian right advocating morale and ethics - Palin has placed herself in the lime light.

granted, her daughter is not running, yet the media loves the color yellow....

  15. barack himself said the family & girl are off limits.

in my opinion this high lights the ignorance of palin's birth control policy "abstinence-only" ... i recall some rabid far right people and their suggestion to pro-choice people to 'keep their legs closed".. not so easy no matter what your political or religious affiliation.

also, i doubt the girl had a choice in how to handle the situation, seeing how her mother is against a woman's right to choose.

  16. Remember how they went after GWB girls?  I doubt it.

  17. They will if the family was back in Alaska and not being paraded on the campaign. I just saw  on  the news Palin introducing her family - all of them including the pregnant teen (this was before  the announcement she was pregnant) and the new baby and they were all on the Straight Talk Express.

And the Cons were up in arms when Obama had his children with him a few times saying he was exploiting them for political means.  What is this dragging your whole family including a young pregnant girl and a baby with Down's syndrome?

Palin is bringing a lot of this on herself.

I do feel bad for her daughter.

  18. No.

The Obama machine is in a full tilt boogie.. This has Axelrod written all over it.

  19. They should, but I doubt they will. The Obama campaign and the media will use it for political advantage because they are a bunch of creeps with no compassion.
