I am talking about Natalie Hollaway. It seems they have had the man a few times, and then each time let him go! Such a beautiful young girl. I often wondered if her parents ever regretted letting her go to Aruba at 17 without a chaperone? Who knows, this horrible tragedy may have never happened!

  1. yes

  2. That is a sad story.  Jeesh, cheer up and keep your daughter close by.

My daughter took off to another state with a creepy boy when she was 18 and I didn't know where she was for 2 weeks, I thought I'd die.  She came back on her own after a couple monthes thank God she was still alive.

  3. Hope for the best

  4. Who cares? Her parents must have known that their daughter was a 'party animal', and must have thought it appropriate to let her hang around with total strangers without any supervision. I wouldn't be too quick to characterize Natalie Hollaway as some innocent young victim. I'd be more inclined to think she was looking for a "good time" (which probably meant drugs, s*x and booze), and she unfortunately fell in with a dangerous crowd of ne'er-do-wells who gave her the excitement she was looking for, then brought her life to a tragic end. I have a hard time feeling sorry for well-to-do people who think their children should have no boundaries, then cry "wolf" when their children are victimized by those whose boundaries are even less confining. The world has more important issues to deal with than the unfortunate murder of one insignificant rowdy teen-ager.

Hundreds of murders go unsolved each year. Had this been a poor black child, it wouldn't have even made the news. No one would have ever heard about it.   -RKO-- 02/26/08

  5. I'm sure her parents are feeling guilty for letting her go and they have to live with that for the rest of their lives. I'm not blaming her parents at all. As a parent myself I would feel the same way. I think they had the right guy in custody all a long, but, why they let this fool go is another story.

I just hope the truth finally comes out and she can rest in peace.
