Will the new 80 gig ps3 run quieter?

see i want to go ahead and buy the current 80 gig so i can have bc and and all the card slots and usbs but i started thinking what if the new 80 gig comes out and then everyones talking about how quiet and how smooth or whatever the new 80 gig is. do you think there will be any major difference between the two 80 gigs of this nature?(and im only talkin about the way the ps3 performs)

The 80gb is the same hardware as the 40gb and the 40gb runs cooler and quieter than the 80gb. There will be a difference in noise and heat production. Don't forget that the 160gb with uncharted is coming out soon for the same price as the 80gb with bc.

The 80 GB MGS4 bundle features 4 USB ports, memory card readers, and some PS2 backwards compatibility. ($499)-------------It is being phased out

The 40 GB  does not have Backwards compatibility with the PS2, does not have memory card readers, and only has 2 USB ports. ($399)-------------It is being phased out

You need to decide how much you want to spend and if you want to wait until November or not.

The noise should not be a factor in any of them when a TV is on.

just get the currnt 80GB it is pretty quiet anyway. i have to put my TV on volume 6 out of 100 and it is still unhearable

Mine is quiet runs very smooth I dont know anything about the 60 and 20 gigs.  its not like a 360 that thing runs louder than my air conditioner.

Now roumer has it that the 160 gig bundle will be coming out in November and if you like to use your online network and download games and demos and such that will be they way to go 80 gigs will go by very quickly If youlike to download stuff.
