  1. i prefer the term "guy in charge of fixing the s***w up the country has become."

  2. You fail at being funny.

    FAIL.

  3. Perhaps so, when you consider that the US national debt has now outstripped the country's GNP each year, thus making it impossible to pay back.  And with the continuing blood lust for war, with Iraq, with Afghanistan, with Iran, with Syria, and ultimately with China or Russia, coinciding as it does with the first wave of Baby Boomers reaching retirement age, there seems no way in sight to staunch the record deficits that 8 more years of Republican (smaller government my a$$!) rule have brought down upon us.

As evidenced by the first few responses to your question, there are plenty of people who want nothing more than to bury their heads in the sand and cry out that if the boogey man can't see your head, he won't eat you.  But denying the problem exists only facilitates those who would  make it worse and claim ignorance of the basic facts.

A corporation is only free to do business as it pleases to the extent that it is financially sound.  Once under the rubric of Chapter 11 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy, its daily financial dealings are controlled by the tenets of its bankruptcy filings.  In case no one has noticed, we are no longer governed by a Constitutional Republic:  all US government offices have been replaced by corporations, from the Federal government to State governments to cities, towns, and townships.  You  live in a municipal area, that is, an area governed by a municipal corporation, or you live in an unincorporated area, some bit of a state that has not been subsumed by incorporation, and thus governed by a corporation.  Thus the state governments have all amended their state constitutions to be held to the rules of the UCC, Uniform Commercial Code, and not to the US Constitution.  We are no longer sovereign citizens, we are now corporate members, or affiliates, if you will.  So in one sense or another, you could say that the Presidents of the last 30 years have all had the unofficial title of "Chief Chair Rearranger on the Titanic," since all have been aware of and supportive of the idea that this once-great ship of a nation can stand against the iceberg of the international banking cabal and not crack and sink.
