  1. Yes, they'd be foolish not too.  But they won't do in until he "really" retires.

  2. I hope not.  He doesn't deserve it.

  3. I'm not happy with Favre or the Packers. I really like Favre so I hope he doesn't ruin his legacy, I have a feeling it is already tarnished though and a season with the Jets is going to be nothing like last year with the packers. He should have gone out on a high note.

  4. They should, I'm tired of all you haters, bashing on him because he wants to play. He loves the game and he's one of the best of all time. Why shouldn't they retire it, check out Green Bay Greed's records before Favre came to town. He's down alot for the community and the league. So get over yourselves.

  5. They might take it out back and bury it, with him in it.

Class act went to no class, on both sides of this deal.

  6. Yes they will retire it. Just like the 49'ers did Montana (Chiefs) and the Jets did with Joe Namath(Rams) and Joe Klecko(Colts) and the Colts's Johnny Unitas(Chargers). h**l Warren Moon played for three other teams after leaving the Oilers(Titans) and they retired his jersey. The list could go on and on with numbers that have been retired by players that have played for other teams! He has too much history in Green Bay and brought them too many highlights for them not to memorialize his number.

  7. I wouldn't either and my mom loved him, she's probably rolling in her grave right now

  8. That will be another dilema that has to be addressed by the 2 gentlemen who directly "pushed" Favre out of Green Bay. This will be in NFL history books for years to come. What an ending.

  9. yes i think they will. Brett Favre put the Packers on the map. Not only is he loved in the Packers Franchise but he is loved all over Green Bay. He is a hero up there and he brought the Packers many good years. It would be stupid to not retire his number and let this inccident ruin his entire legacy up in Green Bay.

  10. lol, ahhhh no.  Not while he is unretired.

  11. i would think so because he may not have the same # in ny and its a totally different team

  12. I dont know. I wouldn't
