  1. No, because Bradys injury is worse than their letting on. Their defense is also getting old.

  2. Highly unlikely, they'll make the playoffs but they won't get to the Bowl. Too many other teams are improving, look for a few upsets this season.

  3. nothing is impossible my friend and i say yes they can and this time all the way and i will tell you why....

#1- draft pick jerod mayo is a beast with a forced fumble and 5 tackles in his 1 quarter start

#2- combo of Moss, Welker, Gaffney, Jackson, and freakin Washington this will spread the offense because of the differential of styles

#3- Kevin faulk has gotten better an Maroney has gotten stronger in the backfield

#4- Defense has gotten better with addition of John Lynch and T.J Slaughter they have new guys to be head knockers

#5-new returner with Ellis hobbs will be Wes Welker which whom runs a 4.5 40

#6-offensive line has gotten better veterans and backups

#7- they have unfinished business to take care of

  4. Just because they have an easy schedule, doesn't mean they will go perfect, if anything that makes them more vulnerable. Pats Flop and go 4-12.

  5. Umm definetly not. Stallworth gone, Samuel gone, Seau gone, g*y gone, and they were figured out last year how to be beaten so dont get your hopes up.

  6. Let's see...it's happened once in the history in the NFL, (yes the record was broken, but they lost the superbowl), so my guess would be no.  Especially not with Brady hurt.

  7. I don't know, being the only 18 and 1 team in NFL history to not win a Super Bowl will be hard to match.

How is that perfect by the way?

  8. they did not go perfect and became the biggest chokes of all time last year. They also will not be able to cheat so you can bet they will suck.

  9. NO

  10. maybe they can cheat their way to the top again.

  11. First of all, they didn't have a perfect season last year, so you saying that they can go perfect "again" is a misstatement of facts.

Secondly, I find it really doubtful that they will be able to for a few reasons. As everyone else said, they have gotten older, lost a few key players, and have not really done much to fill in the holes that they lost in the post-season, especially in their secondary. The fact they brought in John Lynch, an aging Safety that the Denver Broncos didn't even want, is a sign that their secondary is hurting for depth.

Another issue is the fact that teams seemed to have figured ways of dealing with the Patriots offense. This is fairly obvious if you looked at the Patriots' playoffs games. They were able to beat Jacksonville because, for some reason, the Jaguars played conservative with their defense. They were barely able to beat a hobbled and injured Chargers team playing their secondary players. And of course they were not able to get past the Giants in the Superbowl. You can bet that all teams playing against the Patriots this year will take that aggressive approach in playing defense against the Patriots this year.

Don't get me wrong, the Patriots still has a very potent offense and will more then likely win the AFC East, if nothing else because of the weakness of their division. However, the holes in their defense will likely cost them a few games this year. I really don't see them going 16-0 in the regular season because of this.

  12. I guess they should easily pass the Jets and Bills four times since they didn't get WAY nastier. Oh wait, they did get nastier. Well, beating the Colts at home, Chargers, Seahawks, and Steelers should be a walk in the park for a not as good Pats team. Oh wait, that sound like a tough schedule. Not to mention the c**p teams they play wanting to prove they're better than a great team. Example:Eagles and Ravens last year. NFL isn't college sir. Any team can beat any team any Sunday. One botched field goal or fumble can make the difference no matter what the stats say on paper.

  13. No there are a pretty old football team especially on defence. Plus they are going to have a hangover from last seasons super bowl lose.

  14. Nope.
