Question:

Will the people fail on November 5, 2007?

On November 5, 2007, ALL Ron Paul supporters are supposedly going to donate $100 each. sort of like a "V for Ron Paul" day.....which is taken from the movie "V for Vendetta."

This idea has been spread all across the Internet and note that I did not come up with this idea, but I did make a YouTube video on the topic.

My questions is, will this be as successful as I and others hope, or will it be a big flop when it comes time to for people to put their money where their mouth is?

  1. I'm broke and poverty stricken.  People are supposed to be trying to help me finacially,.. it's not supposed to be popular people with money get more money from me.

Alot of people have fallen onto hard times.  Demanding money from people is not the best way to get attention.  H.R.Clinton considered this and asked if at all posible to donate time instead of Money.

Most of everyone's money comes from sources that are not the average layman.  So the only people that can get sucked into suddenly throwing money at something are the same as it has always been statisticly--  Teens & "Young Adults"/College Students.

This is why advertisement seeks out and aims at Teenagers, instead of adults, even though there are likely more adults and adults have money.  It's Kids and Teens that control money and can throw it at things without consiquence.

So from a Statistic and Advertisement point of View --  Teens and Bored people that do not have great influence on their household income are most likely to be the people that will put money in.  This also suggest atleast a quarter of those people will be doing this for entertainment purposes only (then laughing at Ron Paul).

Hopefully you can understand what I said.  Good Luck with your point of view and cause.

  2. Save your money for Christmas gifts, It's just around the corner.

  3. Well theres plenty of time left to register and he already has over 5000 people ready to donate for it. (keep in mind he has nothing to do with this its a side party raising money for his campaign.) It doesent matter if they meet the goal or not some money will go to Ron Paul he has been getting so many donations people just might not have the money after gettin him 5 million lol

  4. Ron Paul WHO?     Well I don't even know who you are talking about and I am your average guy.

Better work on name recognition first.

  5. Question is, how many Jr. High kids have $100, and if they do have the bucks, wouldn't they rather spend it on video games?

  6. So If I donate 100 bones with all of his so called investors that should come up to about 200 dollars. Here's the deal Ron Paul is a Republican but has Liberal Ideas which pretty much goes with out saying his intelligence is well ...non existent! Then add the fact he is FRENCH. He has NO chance at becoming are next Pres. Get it ? none ,zippo ,notta!!!  But for all you R/P supporters out there I have some land in the desert I'm selling for 100 bones

  7. Oh, I think it will be a flop for anyone to give $100 on election day is a waste of money for that person.  However, if you are the one receiving the money, I suppose, you will make some money, as there are many dumb people out there.

  8. First I heard of it! And I too hope Ron gathers a huge war chest. This country needs a president who won't trash the constitution!

    BTW, where is that video?

  9. Who is Ron Paul?

  10. Well that day is busy "annually" since the birth of my child, so Ron Paul will have to find another day to get my attention.

  11. first of all i dont know who ron paul is they need to be sendign me 100

  12. Ron Paul who? What is his last name?

You do realize that is $100 you cannot get back, right? That is a nonrefundable donation, and you cannot claim it as a charitable deduction on your taxes. . .

  13. election day for Pres is in 2008--not a single primary or caucus will have been held by Nov 5, 2007. This sounds like a fund raising ploy, and although it is "original", until I read your question I had never heard of it. There seems to be little publicity about this because I very much try to keep on top of all political developments.

  14. It will come up short. And when it does the supporters will all blame the media for ignoring the candidate. The primary reason for the failure will be a direct reaction to those among his rank and file supporters who call non-supporters traitors and threaten them with internment should Mister Paul win.

  15. So Ron Paul gets about $500?

Will his supporters be able to get the $100 from their parents, or will they have to clean they basement bedroom first?

  16. they'll fail because most probably most dont know who ron paul is

  17. i hope that it works well, I'm a supporter but cant give 100 but will give what i feel i can afford
