Will the people of India come out of poverty?

In spite of all our efforts, we the people of India could not write off poverty from India and after lapse of six decades, half of our population is still living below poverty line when we have got all resources like mountains, rivers, minerals, fertile lands, jungles, coal, iron, gases, petroleum and hard working people at our command. Please consider this question and give me suitable answer.

 Many, many Indians have spread out over the Western world working and living here. Now the economy is suffering here in the West many Indians are returning home with knowledge of how the material aspects of society should be run and how business and political organizations must be structured efficiently.

 When they return to India the way the business and politics in the country are structured will be an irrepressible itch that they will be compelled to scratch away.

 The East is on a necessary material path that will lift its citizens out of  the suffering of poverty and bestow untold riches on the majority of the people there.
