  1. Well, they may be able to see them - they're not made inaccesible in any way. But they're usually too busy to bother.

  2. Yes, they do.  Don't worry- they've seen it all.  s*x, masterbation, drugs, anything you can imagine.  Freaky folks come to the photo lab all day long.

Generally speaking, the only thing which they will react to is child pornography.

So go ahead.....get your freak on and document it!

  3. All photo processing services look at pictures for two reasons ... kiddie p**n and professional photos / copyrighted images. Other than that we (Photo Techs) don't have the time to look through every photo that comes into the lab nor do we have the interest. If you are embarassed (and photos are legal) go to walgreens.com and upload online and have your pics delivered to your home by mail.

  4. If you wish to maintain some privacy use the Fuji kiosk at Walmart. You pictures are printed off site and delivered to the store in a envelope.

  5. I've worked at a film counter of a camera store.  Most of the time I didn't look at the pictures.  But sometimes, for various reasons, I did.  Anyone at a film counter can easily look at your pictures.  If they ever show anything illegal, like child p**n, the police will be called, by the way.

  6. I'm not sure about the digital prints.  If you leave your card for them to actually do the prints - then, yes, chances are they will look at them.  This is for several reasons: 1) to make sure the pictures are of good quality; 2) to make sure you are charged for the right amount of pictures; 3) to maintain accurate inventory of picture paper, etc.  They won't spend much time looking at them unless they are very pretty or are inappropriate.  Most places will allow nude pics as long as they do not show s*x acts or are pics of naked children.  If they show s*x acts that are legal, they will simply dispose of the pics and you won't be charged for them.  If they are of children, they will be turned over to the police.

So, to simplify - if they print them, yes they will see them.  If you print them, not so much, but they will have to count them to verify accurate charges.  Even the cards that are read by the machine will produce prints and these will have to be counted.

    Hope this helps!

  7. A lot of the time they also won't develop them if they show drug use or drinking that is clearly underage.
